Art III is designed for serious art students who want to continue the advanced study of art. Students will continue to develop skills in all media, in addition to focusing on personal artistic goals.
Students who are interested in pursuing the study of art in college will work to develop a portfolio and learn about the submission process, and all students will explore a variety of careers in art.
As a portfolio building course will follow the same basic curriculum as AP Studio Art. While the AP students must complete more work, and at a higher skill lever, Art III students should expect a heavy workload and intense pace compared to Art II, Sculpture/Ceramics, or Multimedia.
