Welcome Freshmen!

Grade 9 teachers are so proud of students who participated in our Welcome Freshmen event! The day began with some team building activities that included a low ropes course.
They had to work as a team to solve some major challenges that pushed comfort zones and required trust and communication. In the afternoon we had a screening of the film “Whale Rider,” which will serve as a springboard for one of our fall PBL projects: Who the Heck am I? This is a study of identity aimed at helping our students navigate high school and young adulthood with confidence and empathy. Great job!
