Why I Geek Critique

All my students know that I am nutty about critique. We critique concepts, rough drafts, revised drafts, and so on. Everyone hates it at first, but over time, most of my students come to rely upon critique feedback as a way to help them recognize strengths, visualize next steps, and get inspiration and support from each other.
